Lesson 11: Final Presentation Preparation

Introduction

Student teams have an opportunity to make final adjustments to their roller coaster design and work on their final project presentations.

Learning Outcomes

  • Students will use the knowledge gained during the project to synthesize a final product

Classroom Time Required

  • 50 minutes

Pre-activities

  • Give student teams feedback from the designs they submitted during lesson 9.

Activities

  • Give students the class period to correct/refine their roller coaster designs and work on their final presentations, which take place during Lesson 12.
  • As students work, circulate through the classroom, talking with each team about their design, corrections they need to make, and any final details they need to address. It would be wise for them to have a copy of the final presentation rubric handy as they work.
