About the Author

Cinnamon Frame is an eighth grade science teacher at McGee’s Crossroads Middle School in Johnston County, North Carolina. She also serves as her school’s science department chair, has worked with her county administration on several curriculum projects, and has written test items for the department of public instruction. She has presented workshops for the North Carolina Middle School Association, Department of Public Instruction, and at the North Carolina Science Teacher’s Association’s professional development conference. She has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Zoology from North Carolina State University, a graduate certificate from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill through NCTEACH and a graduate certificate in Academically and Intellectually Gifted Instruction from University of North Carolina.
