Dr. Sam Houston

Congratulations to Dr. Sam Houston, President and CEO of the North Carolina Science, Technology and Mathematics Education Center and Chair of the Kenan Fellows Program Board of Advisors. Dr. Houston received the prestigious Public School Forum of North Carolina's Jay Robinson Leadership Award for Exemplary Service to K-12 Education. In the words of Dr. John Burris, President of the Burroughs Wellcome Fund, "Dr. Houston has served the citizens of North Carolina and the nation through his vision of excellence in education. His experiences over the years have evolved as he recognized the value of scientific discovery and technology innovation that was needed to solve many of the world problems."
