‘Educator Voices’ Film Series Highlights Kenan Fellow

RALEIGH, N.C., Feb. 20, 2013 — Kenan Fellow Jasmine Hart stars in the latest segment of the online “Educator Voices” film series by the North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE). The interview is just under 3 minutes and features Ms. Hart sharing her love of teaching and the challenges she faces as a public school educator in North Carolina.

“There is nothing I would rather do than spend my days helping teenagers become the best people that they can be,” she says in the video.

Ms. Hart is an English teacher at Sanderson High School in Raleigh. “Educator Voices” is a series of video profiles of teachers from across North Carolina. Brian Lewis, NCAE political director and chief lobbyist, produces, directs, films and edits the video interviews, which can be seen on YouTube.
