In answer to the question “What do I hope to gain from this Kenan Fellows Program experience?” I say as much as possible! Not only are there friendships to make, experiences to share, lessons to learn, and meetings to attend, but there are fun times to have, also! I really love that the people involved in the Kenan Fellows experience take their careers and work with education to extreme levels of commitment, but thankfully don’t take themselves too seriously and are ready and willing to work hard while enjoying the process.
