First Day of Kenan Fellowship

Today was a great first day working with the team at NC State’s Center for Advanced Self-Powered Systems of Integrated Sensors and Technologies (ASSIST). Our mentors and team leaders are great and it was nice to meet other educators from around the Triangle that we will be working with. The technology at NC State that was introduced to us today is incredible. I am very excited about our journey researching Nanotechnology and Wearable Devices. The included picture is an example of student work from our mentor Dr. Jess Jur’s class this past Spring. The product is an arm sleeve to be worn by basketball players to receive real time feedback regarding their shot form and technique by monitoring g-force.
