My name is Daniel McCoy. This blog will be used by me to share and reflect on my Kenan Fellows experience within NC State University’s Assist Center working with other educators researching nanotechnology and wearable devices. I teach business and marketing at both Panther Creek High School and Wake Tech Community College in Raleigh, NC. At Panther Creek I also coach football and baseball. I have my MBA and have plans of pursuing my doctorate in the near future. I also own a businesses consulting firm in addition to a handyman business with my two sons. One of my passions has always been the trucking industry and as a former owner-operator, I still love to get behind the wheel of a tractor-trailer whenever possible. My beautiful wife of 17 years is also a teacher within Wake County Public Schools.
