So you can put a face with a name…..First name Jeri, after my father, but I usually use my middle name, Denise.  Wife for 24 years this August, mother of 3 children, and teacher for 23 years.  I am an art teacher turned elementary teacher turned middle school math teacher.  Currently a student at UNCW seeking my add-on licensure for School Administration, and a very excited 2016 Kenan Fellow! As if that isn’t enough, I’m also training for my first triathlon, a mini-sprint, but for me, it may as well be the Olympics.  My philosophy:  If it doesn’t scare you, you aren’t trying hard enough.
