I am a 15-year educator in Alamance-Burlington Schools. Originally from Maryland, I attended Elon College and graduated with a degree in History. I immediately added a teaching certification and haven’t looked back. Somewhere along the way, I added science to my license and began teaching middle school science classes. Rediscovering all things science re-invigorated my love of teaching and convinced me to go back for my M.Ed. I now teach science and STEM classes at my middle school. I love tinkering and making, and am currently getting into 3D printing, microcontollers, and electronics.
