One of the great things about the Kenan Program is that it has changed me for the better. For instance, I now have a new group of peers that I can bounce ideas off and get their opinions. I have also been able to share my lessons that I created with my PLT and they have a new found respect for what I experienced over the summer. This program has also challenged me to make my lessons much more relevant to my students. I find myself constantly researching ways to connect the material my students are learning to STEM careers. Although change is inevitable, it is usually for the best!
