One of my primary goals for being a part of the Kenan fellowship is to have an impact on others, not only students, but teachers and schools. When you truly believe in best practices, you strive make sure those are present in the education of every child. It would be a privilege to be considered a part of the Kenan Fellows Program.
As an intern at Bayer Crop Science, I hope to be able to gain a deeper understanding in various science fields, as well as learning more about the agricultural community. As a result, I truly hope that I can not only connect my students to opportunities beyond our classroom walls, but to enhance the ways in which we teach our curriculum to allow for more real-world relevance.
