I think the biggest challenge of this process is deciding how you will transfer the intonation to students. I am learning from some of the smartest people in their fields and i need to be able to take the information and turn it into a usable form for students (and other teachers). Also, a challenge (or blessing actually) is that I am learning so much, how I can I put everything I am learning into just a few lessons? I could build an entire unit (or two!) on what i have learned. However, I will be able to put a little bit of what I have learned in my every day lessons!
Another challenge for me is writing lesson plans for other teachers. I find that I do not write lessons as detailed anymore, simply because I have been teaching my subject for ten years. I need to remind myself that I am trying encourage MANY teachers to use my lessons so they need to be very detailed.
