New Tool

So my “new” tool isn’t actually new- but I have added Twitter and Remind to my Parent Communication plan. I felt like I was pretty good at communicating with parents with emails and calls, but I can now use many methods to reach out to parents. I actually never used Twitter until I became a Kenan Fellow. I was never very good at social media, even when I was younger 🙂 but I learned so much from Alison and Paul this summer. Also, I like tweeting out pics of what my kids are doing and bragging about their awesome work!! Also, I can now reach out to parents with many different platforms. Remind is something I was afraid to use, because I thought I would “bug” parents, but I have realized that parents really want to know more than less.
