A-Ha moment

A-ha moments happen on daily basis, whether it is large scale or small scale. One smaller A-ha moment happened a couple of days ago when we were talking about embryology. The students said, “There is no way to tell them apart!” (in the early stages). We discussed how this provided further evidence for the theory of evolution. One of my A-ha moments related to my Kenan project have been when talking about overfishing. We played a little game with goldfish crackers and the students all went for the high dollar fish (the red crackers) before the others. When we talked about why overfishing was a problem, the students said, “This is what happens in real life, and it makes me so sad!”
