Hello! My name is Jennifer Allsbrook, and I have a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry Secondary Education from Appalachian State University and a Master’s of Life Science from the University of Maryland, College Park. I have been teaching at Polk County High School since 1993, attained NBPTS Certification in AYA Science in 1998, and most recently became a 2019-2020 Kenan Fellow.
I enjoy my chosen profession and work tirelessly to expand learning opportunities for my students through professional development, grant-writing, and reflective practice. I hope to continue to grow as an educator and to build positive relationships with my students, peers, and professional community of educators.
