The Kenan Fellows Program for Teacher Leadership is excited to announce the release of the second edition of the Journal of Interdisciplinary Teacher Leadership (JoITL) on Jan. 31, 2017.

Submissions to January issue are currently being peer-reviewed by the Editorial Board which is made up of educators from the Kenan Fellows Program Alumni Network.

The journal is currently accepting submissions for its third issue to be released in July 2017. Submissions for the third edition are due on or before March 31, 2017 at 12 a.m. EST.

Special consideration will be given to works that address:

  • STEM education and science literacy
  • Project and inquiry based learning
  • Teacher leadership and research experiences for educators
  • Data literacy and digital learning

The peer-reviewed publication features original work on educational topics from research to pedagogy to policy and beyond. The journal would not be possible without the support of the educators in the Kenan Fellows Network who had the vision for the publication.
