Welcome to Palmer's World!
An "Egg"-cited Kenan Fellow
In today's diverse society, educators must wear a variety of different "hats" to meet the needs of ALL students. Consequently, as an educator, collaboration, open and employed lines of communication, and life long education are pivotal tools that will impact learning.
As a Kenan Fellow, how can we ensure that we are instrumental in changing the way that are students view science? What type of exposure to "real world" holistic educational experiences can we ensure our students receive that could possibly inspire them to pursue a education or STEM career?
Will our incorporation of the core and essential standards in our various curriculum areas equip our students with what they need? Or will they be like the young lady in the video?
What are your thoughts?
