So tomorrow is the official start of the fellowship, but like most of us, I have been preparing since I knew that I was accepted. I am most excited about diving in and learning about manufacturing.
Since I am building a course, I know where to begin and what I can do once I arrive at the plant. I know how I want deliver the material, now, I just need to gather the meat of the course.
I usually don’t make to-do lists, but I will definitely need one if I am to work efficiently to get all of this done. And I can’t wait to get to Cullowhee to share and connect with the rest of you guys and gals. What is the main play in my game plan? Immersion. Be in it to win it. I know I’ll be getting my hands dirty, but I look forward to it. I have to do it if I want to teach students how to do it right? Let’s make some fencing! It’s the Vinyl Season!
