My Kenan Fellowship Expectations

Someone asked me the other day “Lauren, what are your expectations of the Kenan Fellowship?” I replied with the following list: I expect to…

1. create some great partnerships with other teachers, schools(on every academic level).
2. find new discovery activities for my students to do in and outside the classroom.
3. receive training on conducting my on professional development workshops, especially for beginning teachers.
4. become a spokesperson for the Kenan Fellowship
5. gain experience with grant writing
