I am currently working on my second year at Greene County Middle School in Snow Hill, North Carolina. I have always taught science since starting my career 15 years ago, and most of those years have been teaching 8th grade. When beginning my experience with Kenan Fellows I was hoping to take my career to the next level and really branch out into a new teaching style. This year I will be teaching in our school’s brand new STEM lab, and designing the curriculum to be used for our students. I am hoping that my Kenan Fellowship will help me in designing something amazing for our students at GCMS!
