While driving to NCCAT at Ocracoke for a totally unrelated session I found out from my best supporter and friend, my husband, that I had actually received my Kenan Fellowship. I traveled on thinking about how lucky it was that I was going to have 2 NCCAT experiences at each of the campuses in such a short amount of time. I had no idea that day just how lucky I was and what an amazing adventure I was setting out to do. I say that with only 3 days of this year long processes down. I have met some of the most inspirational teachers with the biggest variety of backgrounds. I have been overwhelmed with the “fam” so far and this is just the beginning.
