Internship Goals

The goal of my internship is simple- to become a better teacher. This is something that I work on every single day, in and out of the classroom. When I saw the opportunity for this specific fellowship, in my hometown, I KNEW that would be perfect for me and my students. I am always looking for something to really hook my kids and get them excited about Science. I love my community so much, and I knew this internship would help me engage my students in hydrology and ecosystems. At this point, I have already learned so much that I can infuse to my existing curriculum, and that makes me really excited to get back to school… just not quite yet 🙂
