All About ME!

Makeda Terry is a native of Washington, D.C. and a 1997 graduate of  Hampton University where she received her bachelors of science degree in Biology. In 2006, she moved to Charlotte, NC to continue her career as a high school Biology teacher at E. E. Waddell HS.   Mrs. Terry is currently working at Olympic HS where she is the Professional Learning Community (PLC) lead for the Bio-medical academy.  She has obtained two master’s degrees one of which is in Educational Leadership.   As a member of the Steele Creek community, Mrs. Terry actively participates in various community service projects throughout the year. Being the proud wife of Baronton Terry and the mother of three daughters, Moriah, Aliyah, and Barri, she ensures she balances her career with family time.
