From no connections to wild waters

In spite of all the connectivity issues this week I still feel like it was a great opportunity to learn about new technology that can be used while also learning about the limitations first hand.  It also helped remind some of us how important it is to differentiate to make sure that student who struggles has lots of support.  The best part of the week has been the connections I have had a chance to make with other teachers, from the dirty dozen Monday evening to going down the river Wednesday.

Did you feel like we just didn’t have enough time to dive into all of the tech-y fun?! I am a big technogeek myself, but I just more time to build and explore. What fun! Your point about experiencing the frustration and limitations is so critical, since it’s often what it’s really like in the real world!

Thanks again for being our helping hand on the raft! You were our angel! 🙂

The Dirty Dozen was a blast. I think some research into world records should be explored! I know we didn’t get a chance to brainstorm this week, but I will definitely be in touch with you about your unit. Safe travels tomorrow!
