As I reflect on my amazing week at NCCAT, I feel that every speaker, workshop, and
activity was designed just for me! The information presented caused me to reflect on my teaching style and will have a direct impact on my Kenan project. I was inspired by the many other fellows present and the wealth of knowledge each possessed.
I didn’t ride the raft down the river, but I had a wonderful time walking the river. Wednesday was a needed day of rest and relaxation…just to give the brain a break!
I loved all the new ideas that were presented….I think I am still reeling with information overload! I greatly appreciated my own private room at the end of the day, to just sit back, relax and reflect. The meals in the dinning hall were amazing and the staff was great! The room had everything I needed to make my week one of the best ever. Just a little note to self for next time…bring the coffee maker! I am looking forward to our next professional development in July…I hope to have some amazing things to share.
Kathleen,
I’m glad I wasn’t the only person that had that feeling that every speaker and every strategy was tailor made! I love that everyone- from speaker to cohort members- was able to share the best of their practices to the benefit of their fellow Fellows 🙂 It was a humbling experience to be surrounded by this caliber of professionalism.
I agree, ladies! I found every speaker to have brought innovative and valuable information to share. I kept wanting to take an hour after every new speaker just to play with the resources that had been shared! I also am truly humbled to be counted a Fellow amongst this amazing group of people!
I am jumping on the bandwagon, but I felt the same way about the speakers! They all truly were engaging and really passionate about what they were speaking about each and every time.
I enjoyed talking with the VP’s at Natahala also!!
🙂
It is a lot of take in a short period of time. Glad you found it useful. Thank you for sharing your reflections on this blog.
