Wow, what can I say about this experience.  This has been truly an amazing week!  It started with driving to the for the first time and safely arriving… however, I was a basket case when I got there.  The many wonderful tools we learned about are going to be wonderful in my classroom, but……. my highlight was definitely the whitewater rafting.

During this experience, our Duplin County team plus our honorary member Jennifer used this as a team building opportunity.  We did not really know each other prior to this week and it really helped us to become closer and really be a team.  Personally, this was just a great experience for this first-timer.  From the rapids to jumping off the rock and not killing myself, I felt like a kid in a candy store.  While everything this week was phenomenal, the rafting trip was by far an awe-inspiring experience.
