About Me

Hello!

I have been teaching Technology and Engineering Education classes since 2011. From 2011 to 2013, I taught high school PLTW engineering and design classes at a school in Maryland. In 2013, I began teaching at Moore Square Magnet Middle School. Prior to teaching, I attended Millersville University of Pennsylvania for my Bachelor of Science in Technology Education. I am actually the third generation of my family to teach this subject, although it has changed quite a bit since my grandpa taught it!

This semester I will be teaching: • Technology Design and Innovation • Exploring Career Decisions My favorite thing about the classes that I teach is that students get to combine everything they learn throughout all of their other classes (interdisciplinary) into one class. My classes bring together subjects like Language Arts, Math, Science, and Art into an design-based, hands-on, problem-solving, collaborative class! My main goal for my classes is that my students leave with a better understanding of how to apply their knowledge to solve problems that they are presented throughout the rest of their lives . I am also the advisor for two clubs at Moore Square. The Garden Club focuses on creating and maintaining an organic garden on our campus. I am also the advisor of the Technology Student Association.
