Monthly Archives: May 2014

Hello everyone

I am very excited to be part of the 2014-2015 Kenan Fellows group, and also honored at the same time. I am sure it will be a wonderful experience, learning from all of you, sharing lessons, hard work, and laughs. It is also exciting to bring all these new experiences to Exploris, the school in downtown Raleigh, where I teach. I am a biologist and 6th grade Science and Math teacher (through Integrated Curriculum), team teaching for student growth as learners. At school, we enjoy learning together, sharing my passion for Science, tracking Eastern Box turtles, doing Origami,  and working for the NCDOT yearly Bridge Building competition (some engineering, too).  I am ready for an unforgettable year.
