Preparing for an Incredible Summer

May is easily one of the busiest months for teachers and Art teachers are no exception. Preparing for the oncoming onslaught of exams, art shows, and trying to still teach is keeping me quite busy, and more than a little stressed! But I’m so excited for this summer that I can hardly wait for the Kenan Fellowship to start! I will be working on the Students Discover: Shark Teeth Forensics with Dr. Bucky Gates and Dr. Lindasy Zanno of NC State at NC Museum of Natural Sciences. I look forward to working with all of my peers and bringing my unique perspective to this project.

If you are interested in following along with me and my journey I will be continuing to blog about my experiences, my project, and my thoughts with the Kenan Fellowship here. Feel free to comment with any questions that you have about my project and I look forward to having you along for the ride!

Hi Chris, I’m looking forward to following your fellowship. I have a special interest in the Students Discover fellowships, and am so glad you’ll be participating with the museum cluster. If it’s anything like last year, you are in for a great professional treat. Look forward to meeting you!

    Susan
