Over the past week, I have become inundated with more information on cotton that I had no clue existed. What has been fascinating is to see how my mind is beginning to connect the dots on where cotton relates to current curriculum and standards that teachers must already approach in the classroom. Of itself, this is where Cotton Inc. can immediately become a beneficiary of my internship and time spent at the company. My goal is to start partnering with my supervisor and the rest of the team to showcase for them how they can begin making connections toward classroom standards, which would make them more marketable to educators in wanting to use their product and their company toward learning.

I also see Cotton Inc. being able to benefit from my internship simply by helping to become a partner with me in creating the curriculum. I have big and broad ideas for the curriculum I am creating and I can see Cotton Inc. playing an integral part in helping to invest in and create those materials that would partner nicely. As a result, this would allow Cotton Inc. to be at the forefront of the classrooms in certain regards.
