This internship has been a great experience for me thus far. I’ve really enjoyed working with data and trying to develop connections between different splits and the overall finish time for the marathon. It has been great to see and develop ways that I can integrate it into my curriculum.  I have run into a few difficulties with consistencies in the data. I’ve had to figure out how to maintain the integrity of the data but account and adjust for discrepancies. I have enjoyed working as an independent but I do find myself at times wanting to be working with a group of individuals. It is helpful to have someone else (non-mentor) working in the project when I need to bounce ideas off someone.
