Overall, this was a great experience. I think that I grew as an educator and my students grew as well. The project I implemented as a result of my Kenan experience was very successful. I was blown away with the products that my students created to present their findings. They created websites, movies, and presentations. I couldn’t have been more proud of them and the hard work they put into the project. Not only were their products great, but their learning of the mathematics was also evident. Below are some sample from the final products that the students created.
Within our school, we are using this as a keystone project in our Honors Pre-Calculus courses. I’d like to tweak it some more and then share it with the county wide Honors Pre-Calculus PLT.
