I must say that as an educator we have so many instances of Professional Development that I wonder if we take the time to reflect on those instances in it’s true form.  Well, last week during our time I probably should’ve blogged more, but I’m realizing even with our daily lives, being at Summer Institute was phenomenal!  We had the opportunity to meet so many educators from across the state with strengths in different disciplines as well as connect with them on a deeper level than just “hi and bye.”

Most PD’s a teacher goes to, we never really get the opportunity to develop relationships past the time we are together.  Even connecting with teachers from my District that I had never heard of or had any interactions with has made this journey to Kenan even more fun.   We will work closely together this year as a cohort and my guess is the product will be amazing as we are able to put our strengths together and forge a bond that will forever be known as the CMS CTE Computer Science and Information Technology 2021-2022 Cluster of Teachers.  I’m excited to see, know and do more with this amazing group of teachers as we prepare lessons throughout our time this year.  Oh what fun it is to be a Kenan Fellow!
