The title of my fellowship is “Growing Our Own Engineers”. My mentors are Mark Meno from Fleet Readiness Center East and Bill Fortney, Director of NCSU Engineering at Craven Community College. As a part of my fellowship, I will develop lessons that introduce students to the world of engineering. My hope is to connect with all grade levels (Kindergarten through 12th grade) and have a collaborative effort to expose students to the engineering field while maintaining alignment to our state and national standards. I’m very excited to dive into this project and I can’t wait to see where it will take my students!
