My fellowship is entitled “What a Grape Opportunity” and it has paired me with Morgan Jackson at the Duplin Winery.  The purpose of my fellowship ties into not only my Social Studies curriculum but also into my school’s STEM focus of Agritourism.  Through my fellowship I am being given the opportunity to explore a local business that plays a significant role in my county’s economy while using the information I learn to create lessons that will enrich my student’s understanding of US History related topics .
