My fellowship is titled “Common Core ELA Lessons and Reflective Videos.”  I will be working with Lisa Llewellyn McIntosh and Anna Frost from DPI.  I am excited to be paired with a great group of teachers from across the state in preparing curriculum materials and modeling best practices by creating ELA units.  We will be recording our units and offering reflections on the three shifts in ELA with Common Core.  We will conduct webinars for teachers and assist with DPI’s Summer Institute as well as bringing back everything we learn to our district.  Members of my fellowship are Kelly Hines, Kimberly Sanderlin, Jennie McGuire, and Kimberly Tufts.
