I am truly excited for this opportunity as a Kenan Fellow. Over the past 4 years of teaching I have learned quite a bit from teaching but I have had many challenges that have hindered my abilities and decreased my drive and passion for teaching. I am hoping the fellowship will reinvigorate my passion for teaching and challenge me to think about better ways to connect with my students and peers. I look forward to learning different tools and resources to implement in my classroom. I am also looking forward to bringing back technology and industry rich skills and concepts to share with my colleagues. I’m hoping to apply more technology in my classroom and incorporate more project based assignments.
