Building a bridge to the classroom

One of the big ideas from my internship is the One Health Challenge which requires students to develop a working prototype that solves a global health concern. In addition to the prototype they must also create an advertisement and an EDP poster. My goal in to bring this challenge back to my classroom and my curriculum. I am going to encourage my students to become involved and compete in the competition. I feel as though this will help bring more global awareness to my students and help them become 21st century students and global citizens.

    Hi Brooke!
I am also going to bring a group to the One Health Challenge. I agree, actually researching a global health issue to address with a wearable device will make strong connections between the real world and our curriculum. Good Luck 🙂
