As a Kenan Fellow we have to create a product or lesson plan to incorporate what we experienced in our internship back into the classroom. Some of the challenges I am facing are that I experienced SOOOOO much it is hard to narrow down what I want to do with my students. I am a very hands on teacher and love when students are creating a product they can show off. If you know anything about the power business there is a lot that goes into stringing up a power line pole and running power to your house. Another challenge I am having is I think too big and well sometimes it’s a great thing but other times I bite off too much and get in over my head. Trying to find that balance is a learning process.
I know whatever I come up with Four County and the Kenan Fellows program will support me all the way.
