So far, this experience has been extremely rewarding and motivating. Being immersed around awesome educators, along with my time spent with local hardworking farmers, has opened the valve to a flow of ideas. Being the ENTP that I am, it has been difficult to narrow this flow of ideas into one direction. As I began to develop my plan, it quickly became this elaborate lesson, with several working parts, that would be challenging to implement with the restraints of time and funding. I am starting to realize the best ideas are not always the most feasible. It is more important that my lesson can be replicated beyond just my own classroom. I may have a lot of balled up ideas in the trash can, but I now at least have some parameters set to help organize the chaos. I look forward to finalizing my plan and seeing it implemented within my class. As far as some of my other ideas, I am eager to explore some grant opportunities and other resources to make it work.
