Good things must come to an end…..

I have to say that the highlight of my week was the relationships and memories I made with all the fellows.  We enjoyed a night of fellowship with singing and dancing on Wednesday night and I think it finally broke down those barriers that comes with new relationships and new adventures.  We all let down our guards and got to know each other on a deeper level both professionally and personally.  When Friday came I was truly sad to leave and by Friday night all though I was happy to be back to my family I missed my fellow fellows.

I plan on using goosechase when we take our students to the state fair this year. (fingers crossed)  I believe using goosechase will help students see the importance of a state fair and not just see it as a chance to eat literally anything fried and then test the limits of their stomachs on the rides.

I also plan on using the graffiti wall idea.  Hopefully the tape will stick to our walls at the school as usually nothing sticks to the wall so we don’t have to worry about taking off the paint.  LOL.  I think the graffiti wall came be used in many aspects within my curriculum.  From using it as a pre and post assessment.

This week was very enjoyable as far as pd.  I was never bored or though geez this pd doesn’t even apply to me.  I feel that everyday was worthwhile and well planned out.  I felt like an integral part of the pd and loved the fact that I was not talked at.
