For my fellowship, I will be working at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences with Dr. Dan Fergus.. Together with Fellows Maribeth Evans and Willis Foster, we will be research the diversity of mites that invest hair follicles and sebaceous gland in the body. We are a part of the Students Discover group.
We will be learning important biological research methods and helping to translate the research into a form that teachers and students can use in the classroom to learn about these organisms.
