Earlier in the year, I implemented my Kenan Fellow lesson. Of course, we scraped students for face mites to see if they had them on their face or not.
Their faces were truly priceless when they discover what the Demodex mites looked like! Some of them were amazed and wanted to know if they had them, and others were trying to figure out ways to kill them!
We are in the process of waiting for the results to come back, and I get asked all the time by the students if I have found anything yet. We will know soon!
Unfortunately, I did not have any pictures taken of me on the data collection day, but I got plenty of the kids!
