I teach at Wake STEM early college high school on the NCSU campus. I have been teaching in Wake county for 20 years. I helped to open Wake STEM and I am currently in my 5th year at this school.
I wanted to become a Kenan Fellow to meet like minded educators and work towards developing community resources for my students at STEM. I am working with the ASSIST program at NCSU and the goal of my program is to develop a wearable sensing device and to contribute lesson plans to a website for a wearable sensing device competition.
