I had a wonderful time working with my mentor and his team in the NCSU ASSIST program. Dr. Jur exposed me to a plethora of current research and research personnel during my weeks of study in the summer program. I have been able to understand nano tech research better , as well as, the need for wearable sensing devices that tackle all sorts of issues.
He supplied me with equipment to build my engineering program at Wake STEM. My students will use this equipment to enter and compete in the One Health Challenge in the spring of 2016. Dr. Jur has been very responsive to my questions and I am sure that we will continue to be in touch.
