This morning I woke up with excitement! I couldn’t wait to arrive at NCCAT to learn how to become a better teacher. Today, we reviewed the expectations for our Kenan Fellowship as well as participated in several team building activities. These were awesome! I will definitely use some of these in my classroom next year. I believe that social norming is so important for our students because it allows students to get know each other and the skills each teammate brings to the table. This year, I plan on facilitating social norming activities everyday during their warm-up time during the first week of school.
I look forward to the professional development session tomorrow! I am really intrigued with EdCamp and I can’t wait to learn what it is all about!
