Project Name:
Hurricanes, Tornadoes and Climate Change
Ms. Moffitt will partner with Dr. Richard Smith of SAMSI and Dr. Alan Karr of NISS to exam in new ways of inspiring teachers to open an avenue for North Carolina students to learn about statistics in memorable and meaningful ways.
She will explore different datasets and different statistical methods, and develop lesson plans that are designed to inform students of these important issues and their impact on society.
