An Ex’Siding’ Opportunity
Ms. Roof will partner with Chris Ruff and Lee Clark-Sellers of Ply Gem to observe automated production methods; experience lean manufacturing practices; learn the various safety and environmental considerations of the manufacturing process; and develop relevant and engaging STEM lessons designed to help students understand the science behind environmentally responsible production methods.
She will also examine how the science, technology, engineering and mathematical-related (STEM) opportunities this field offers for students.
