Mentor’s Organization Benefits

This internship experience should have several benefits for my mentor’s organization. First, free publicity through the actual Kenan Fellows Program as well as within my classroom and school. The Kenan Fellows website and publications may provide more publicity on a larger scale. However, I will be able to make my students more aware for years to come of the local career opportunities offered through Bay Valley Foods. I also hope that by relating my curriculum to this real world experience I will be able to better prepare my students for possibly going into this type of industry. By making the students more aware of the job opportunities provided by this company it may help them to have a better qualified pool of employees from within the area.
