Education is a multifarious career; a career in which you wear many hats. Teacher, student, mentor, colleague, community member, all of these roles are necessary to be effective within your educational institution. When we lack diversity of experience, we tend to stagnate, we do what we know, we do what is comfortable. It is my sincere hope that I gain a unique perspective from my KF internship. The opportunity to work within Lenoir Memorial Hospital, and observe the programs and supports that they have in place, is truly a great opportunity. I hope that I am able to absorb the many things that make LMH a great place to work, and then modify and apply them to my classroom, and my school as a whole.
